The food was excellent! With that said I was disappointed in the overall experience. When I think "fine dining" I do not think of glass on top of the table clothes. The glass also was dirty making my feelings about it worse. We were sitting by a window that needed cleaning which is a shame with a beautiful lake on the other side. For an Italian place I was suprised they did not bring oil and vineager with the bread. The prices aren't bad, but I expect a better environment. Again the food was excellent and for that alone I will go back. I however will not take a date.

waited for 40 minutes for a table - when we were seated there were flies on the inside window and spiders on the outside. Our appetizer took 40 minutes to arrive, we had fried calamari which was overcooked and then our salad took an additional 20 minutes. When we spoke our concern to the owner, he was not sincere in his apology as he made excuses. We never got to eat our entree after spending almost 2 hours waiting. Make a reservation as that seems to be the preferred method, the view was good but I will never eat there again!

J's is a good place. Good wine list to go along with the good food. Restaraunt is beautiful as well.
