User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest food around town. It is very authentic and the waiters and waitresses are excellent. I wouldn't recommend you to take your family anywhere else. It is a great place for lunch or dinner. You can go alone or you can take your whole office with you. And the prices are also very reasonable, to get anything that good you would have to drive to texarkana.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsIt has been such a joy to watch this business grow. Papas has brought unity to this community. The food is excellent. The service is excellent. They're clean and friendly. When you're there, you feel like part of the family. Everything is authentic down to the tortillas, which are hand-made right before your eyes. They've added a gameroom now, so the kids can play while you wait. The atmosphere is nice because there's plenty of room between tables. It's a great place to throw a party or take a prospective client, employer, or coworker to lunch. And, of course, a great place to take your most prized possession-your family. (and they offer American food to those of us who don't have a flare for Mexican cuisine) DeQueen loves PAPA POBLANOS!!!!!

Hey saw your post on here. However, I have to disagree! This little place on Stillwell by the railroad tracks is way better than papas! I believe they have been around for over 15 years. Definitely must try their food if you like Mexican FOOD (not TexMEX)! The Place is called LA CHIQUITA
I also agree, hit the taco stands on the weekend
I have to agree with you (supportlocalbusiness). The food is defiantly authentic, i have family and friends that work there. And no La Chiquita is not better, their food is too greasy and they cook all of the food on the same grill, unlike papa's. Papa's has a separate grill for everything. And yes they make their own tortillas and their own chips . They also make each individual lemonade when they are ordered, they don't make a big jug like most people think. Papa's is not texmex, it is authentic Mexican food.
