Excellent. After several years of patronage, their menu remains constant and of the highest quality. The best Japanese cuisine in Arkansas.
I eat here at least once a week and have never been treated poorly. Wendy and Johnny are always very pleasant and work as quickly as possible.
Ever since Stephanie left & let Johnny & Wendy run the place it has gone down hill. The service is terrible. I've never been somewhere that the waitress yells at you & tells you that you ordered something wrong. She told my friend that soup & salad with her meal was $3 extra & then charged her $4.50. When she asked Wendy about it, Wendy argued with her and told her she didn't say $3, that is is alway $4.50. We were there during happy hour & her spicy roll should have been $3.25 like mine was, but she was over charged. Wendy wouldn't fix it so my friend said she is never going back.
My mom & I ate there for my birthday & the spicy tuna was light brown and wasn't spicy at all, it tasted like tuna right out of a can. Johnny was so busy doing both habachi grills and the sushi bar by himself that we didn't say anything that night. I called & talked to him about it & he said come in & he would fix "spicy tuna" for me. When I went in with my friend we asked if it would have the spicy sauce in it, he got very defensive & down right nasty with me. He said I didn't know what I was talking about when I said the last spicy tuna roll tasted like cooked tuna out of a can. I told him that my mom is from Tokyo & she is the one that tasted it first & said something was wrong with it. He said everyones taste changes that his roll is the same everytime. I said maybe Wendy wrote down the wrong roll since they were so busy. She never came back to our table & they were too busy for us to go get Johnny from behind the habachi grill to fix it, that's why I called to tell him about it. If I owned or ran a sushi bar I would want feed back, I would try to make my customers happy. They really don't care about their customers, therefore my friends & I won't be back. Neither will my mom & her Japanese friends. If Stephanie ever comes back to run it I will.
