My family and I lucked up on this very small, family oriented business. Although the hours cause a slight problem for us as we have to drive from Wrightsville, and they close fairly early and open later in the afternoon, we have to preplan our trips which sometimes makes it impossible to get there in time. The food is well worth the drive, we don't go to the area very often, but we will make the drive of an hour or so just to dine here. The selection is excellent it is a CATFISH house you expect to find just that and nothing more, why complain about the menu choices, they do have a very wide variety on Friday and Saturdays, catfish selections are fried, broiled or cajun, they also have shrimp (fried), frog legs, and for those of you with picky children they do have chicken strips as well. Plenty of different side items, but with a southern style, fried okra, pinto beans, slaw, french fries, etc... This is by far the best catfish in the central arkansas area, we have tried many and in the past our all time favorite was Grampa's but when Grampa passed away the service and food quality went downhill and we had to find another, we have tried almost every place in town and this one is the best. Prices are about average and nothing more than what you would expect to pay. Don't visit this place thinking it is a ritzy place, it's not, it's a down home, family oriented small business. The service and food are both out of this world. I would strongly recommend. When driving to the place, it sits off the main hwy and down a hill so you can't see if from the road just look for the signs....EXCELLENT CHOICE and you won't be disappointed we promise!!!!!!!!!!

When you walk into this place, you might be a little surprised. It looks a lot nicer on the outside than the inside. When you try the food however, you will be hooked. The fish is excellent and actually tastes like catfish should, not like fried cornmeal. They offer quail on Friday nights and it is beyond compare. Definitely a great place to eat at.

Our friday night special delight.: It is the long drive from Beebe that makes me more than glad to find such a good place to eat. The food is as great as the service that you get there. I used to go to a couple other places closer ,but I was hooked from the first time here. Thank You for such a great place.
