User Rating: 1 out of 5 starshow rude!! they acted like they couldnt be bothered with my intrusion on their highly important conversation about the girl that works at the dollar general down the walk way... they ACTUALLY told me to 'HANG ON' while they finished gossiping abt her sex life... the extra 10 min drive to Petco is WELL worth it!! i spent 500.00 dollars on a new ferret and supplies... paradise pets lost out
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI've been in Paradise Pets one time, I was looking for cat for my son. I walked in and there were 2 employees there, one male and one female. Neither of them even made eye contact with me. I saw they didnt have any cats but I wanted to look around. I spent a least ten minutes in there and other people came in and no one said a word to me or the other customers. I will drive out of my way to not have to go back in there. How rude.

I shop here for a few items that I can't find anywhere else. I have no complaints about cleanliness or care of the animals or selection of supplies, but I can say that the staff is much LESS than friendly. I have never had one of them smile at me or greet me when I enter the store. They all stare at me with blank eyes when I check out. The guy wouldn't sell me an aquatic plant because I was going to put it in a bowl rather than an aquarium and he said it would die. I have had that exact plant in my bowls for quite some time and they are thriving happily along with my fish. Still, he wouldn't sell me the plant.
I shop here because they carry a few things for exotic animals that no one else in the area carries, but I can tell you that based on their attitudes toward me and others every time I'm in there if there were another place around here with their selection, I would shop there instead.
