Set back in a stand of piney woods by a manmade pond, beautiful water features and roaming peacocks, the Cock of the Walk features the country look with a flair. From the moment you step into the entrance with its glossy wood floors, you can smell the homemade cornbread prepared from scratch. Cock of the Walk has repeatedly been awarded best catfish in Central Arkansas, as well as best fried chicken. The main entrees also can be grilled for shoe interested in a healthy alternative. Southern greens, creamy cole slaw and scrumptious fried pickles are delicious accompaniments to the "Keelboat" dinners. The full service restaurant with a beautiful new bar has large private rooms that also can accommodate rehearsal dinners, special groups, business functions, bus tours or quaint family gatherings. Deck seating overlooking the beautiful grounds also is available by request.
