User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAs truck drivers, we see Nick's billboards at least eight times a week while travelling the interstate 40. We finally stopped by Nick's last week for lunch and I am sorry it took so long for us to find this place! EVERYTHING was sooo delish! I love cat fish and they sure cook it to perfection... and their hush puppies are to die for! I will definitely be a regular at Nick's
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI drive a truck, and found this place by chance. I don't even like catfish, but I love the way they make it. Grilled is the best, but either way you cant go wrong! it may take a few minutes longer for grilled, but it's well worth it.
The BBQ sauce...$61 a case to ship it, but again...WELL WORTH IT!! No matter what you order off the menu, you can't go wrong.
My wife, daughter, parents and I were in the area, and same thoughts...they don't like fish, but tried mine and they all loved it.
Over the course of the last six years, I have stopped there on average once to twice a month, and have NEVER been disappointed.
I have been ALL OVER the lower 48 states and Canada, and this is by far the best food I have come across!!!-

Oh my God! This is the best place ever! We were stuck in a traffic jam on the highway and made it to an exit, and there was Nick's. We had ribs and catfish. They were the best ribs I've ever had. And the catfish was also the best! They have a wall of famous people who ate there and autographed their photos. Very cool. Pink even ate there! If we didn't live in central Texas, I'd make the trip just to eat there. Really, it's great!
