order two orders to go, was a waste of money. The fish was like eating a rubber band, the french frys was old and cold, the slaw was so bad we couldn't even stand the smell of it, the hush puppies was so bad that the birds wouldn't touch after I gave it them in the back yard. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. THERE ARE OTHER CATFISH STORES AROUND HERE THAT CARE ABOUT SERVICE AND THE FOOD!!!

My co-workers and I ordered takeout from here last week. We ordered extra hot sauce to go with our 3 fish dinners. My co-worker went to pick it up and noticed that there was only one hot sauce container. When she politely asked for more, she was told that hot sauce goes a long way. After my co-worker expressed her diappointment with that, the rude lady decided she would go add a little more to the still, one container of hot sauce. We all three had to share one small container. My other co-worker decided to call and complain over the inconvenience, and was told that the rude lady was part owner, and there was nothing they could do about it. They were trying to cut costs.

As a waitress and employee of Grampas for many years I am sorry to say you did not enjoy your meal. But in our defense you have to remember that we deal with all kinds of people that will try to get as much stuff as they can for free. Did you offer to pay for the extra hot sauce? Probably not! Anytime you go to a restuarant and ask for extra condiments you will be charged for them. You received a 2 ounce cup of hot sauce for 3 four piece catfish meals which should have been more than enough for each piece of fish. (by the way that was a 2 ounce cup of hot sauce and when your purchase a FULL bottle at your local grocery store it is a 3 ounce bottle) Also when you came to pick up your order you were rude about the whole issue and sent the employee back several times for other things that you also wanted extra. If you want extra condiments, most people go to the store and buy the items so they have them on hand at all times, knowing that they like extra and use them for every meal. Ask any employee or regular customer that comes to Grampa's we are a family owned and operated business and take extra care in dealing with our customers because our boss is always close by. You never mention that your lunch was actually good or the price was a good deal for the amount of food you received, just the hot sauce? No one goes to a lunch for a condiment and I'm sorry you did not enjoy your hot sauce. But we are a Catfish restuarant serving the best catfish in the central Arkansas area.

wow!!! is that how grampa's handles customer complaints. (by going online to a website where customers are allowed to tell about there experience at a resturant and attacking them as they do so) Too bad. I was online looking for a good place to take my in laws for dinner. they are in the mood for catfish. i know where we won't be going.Oh well, Headed to The Flying Fish. It's the best anyway!!!!

P.S. So went ahead and took our business to The Flying Fish, and as usual it was Kick Awesome. We enjoyed every bite. And guess what else......wait for it....it's coming...THEY HAD EVERY CONDIMENT YOU WOULD EVER NEED FOR YOUR FISH DINNER SITTING RIGHT THERE ON OUR TABLE. THAT'S RIGHT, BOTTLES OF IT WERE EVERYWHERE. My suggestion to Laura M would be to take your business where it will be appreciated. Unlike Grampa's, FF doesn't require you to bring your favorite condiment. They have plenty!!! Oh yea, the place was packed. Happy Eating
