I recently purchased tickets to take my child to see a movie in which we had planned our day around. When we arrived the movie had been pulled from the line up to show a new movie that came in. This would have been fine had there been something else I was able to take him to see, but that wasn't the case. I was just out and there really didn't seem to be any concern from anyone. That's just how it works. I have since decided that we will not make plans for a movie in the future. I really considered this a breach of contract with a customer. They shouldn't sell tickets in advance if they are going to change the movies that the tickets are purchased for.
This theatre is about average compared to all of the other theatres that have been built since the 1970's and later. They all look alike; they have no personality. They look and feel more like a circus or casino. I agree with Brandy M this time (she writes alot!) regarding the movie viewers themselves: thoughtless, rude, self-centered, etc. But that is everywhere too, Brandy M.
Overpriced, dirty, nothing but children working there. Added to that is the complete lack of respect by other movie goers. You would think that being in a R rated movie with the local laws of no one under 18 is allowed you wouldn't have to worry about other adults talking on their phones, texting, or talking with each other without care for the people around them.
Jonesboro is a city that is supposed to be made up of people with strong values. Yet every time I am around a group of people from there I feel that maybe they should build another church to help flock these ignorant people to it, so that they might begin to practice what they preach.

While palning a night around a movie and having that taken away would really ruin my night as well....I know for a fact that the only way a movie would ever be cancelled is as long as no tickets have been purchased.... I work in a theater and know the system will not allow it if tickets are presold. so while you may of wanted to watch a certain show you did not have tickets first...your loss!
