User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsmy family and i used to go to the catfish hole alot acctually, until the owner came up to me because i didnt like the shrimp and told me that maybe i shouldnt ever order the shrimp again if i didnt like it. i thought it was really unprofessional for the owner to tell people what they can and cant order and we have never ate there since.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsIf you like hush puppies, this is the place to go! The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful! they brought fresh hush puppies constantly ... the green tomato relish was to die for... I can't wait to eat there again on our next trip to Arkansas (next week)...

My husband loves catfish and we recently ate here at the Catfish Hole since we live nearby. He was not impressed at all and he doesn't care to go back. He said they put way too much cornmeal breading on the fish. The other people with us liked the catfish just fine. I don't eat catfish so I had the breaded scallops and it was good. The hushpuppies were excellent. And I must add that the service by the entire staff, was amazing! You will not run out of anything on your table. Yes, it is very noisy in this place so it's not great for conversation.

10/10/2009 I would agree with the fish not being very good the filets were too thin and over cooked almost to the point of being tough. Hushpuppies were excellent, and the service was outstanding.
