Not good at all. Pasta came swimming in a plate full of water. $20+ per head and salad dressing comes in plastic cup on the side of your plate. Italian sausage was served cold...not cool but actaully cold. Service was less than impressive as well. Monsy spent here is wasted.

DeVito's is our favorite place in Eureka Springs. Great food and awesome service that is attentive but not overbearing. We have eaten there for almost 20 years, and have never had a bad meal or poor service. Favorites are the trout finger appetizers, parmesean trout, the filet and the Italian Flag dinner. If you are lucky, you'll be there when the lasagna is the nightly special!

This restaurant was far less than anticipated. It was billed as award winning, best Italian restaurant in Arkansas. It was also billed as romantic, HOW? It is too tiny to be romantic, I mean, it is so confining you can hear people grinding their food! Is that romantic?

I would love to know who reviewed this restaurant and if they knew the reviewer was coming?

My husband ordered the seafood risotto 21$-- it was bland, unseasoned, the shrimp was overcooked and the crab was so minute that it was as if it just weren't there. Not even a grain of salt, no garlic, nothing. 21$ for a dish that looked like the lunch room lady at school plopped it on a plate and I'm sorry to say would probably have tasted better if the she had cooked it. 21$ for 1/4 cup uncooked arboreo rice 5 shrimp, unnoticed crab and some sprigs of broccoli.

I ordered the Spaghetti $12 with meat sauce. First of all, the sauce had italian sausage in it, which had a wonderful taste, but, the sauce and the dish as a whole was lacking. First, the pasta looked as though it was the pasta that sat on top of a bowl that had been left unlidded, it was dried out to the point of being in need of cooking again. The sauce almost wasn't there, there wasn't enough to accommodate all the pasta. I'm not one that needs a lot of sauce. I like the traditional italian method, toss the sauce and pasta together, some cooking a little longer after tossing, some choosing to go straight to table but both with the end result of completely coated pasta. So, it doesnt take much sauce to make this dish wonderful, it does however take an exceptional sauce to transform any bland noodle into a sumptuous dish that you remember, in a good way, for the rest of your life. This was not that sauce. Even though, compared to the rest of the items on the menu, the spaghetti was the cheapest and the least extravagant, it is a dish that many will order, it is a dish that they charge $12 for, it is a dish that deserves attention. If I pay that much for pasta with meat sauce, I want phenomenal, I didn't get that. I got a thick, garlic tomato blob on top of dried out noodles, that I had to salt and pepper at the table to bring it to the point of being edible. The only thing that this place has going for it is that there are plenty of unsuspecting tourist around who will make the mistake of choosing DE Vito's, who will be charged far too much for a restaurant undeserving of their time, money and the italian monicker. We could have probably avoided this whole fiasco had we just ordered an appetizer, we would have been able to tell what kind of cooks they were and got out a lot cheaper which is a good way of getting an idea of how they cook and serve as a restaurant but to anyone reading this, I've done it for you,the hard way, don't waste your money or your time.
