My family spent around $100 and went ahead and tried an assortment of there food. Im here to say, that it wasnt anything special at all. They're BBQ beef was dry like a bone and was sliced, not pulled and the exact same goes for there Pork. The BBQ chicken was ok and it was actualy in the "pulled style". They're BBQ sauce was pretty decent, but was very watered down. Instead of getting resturant style buns, we got like three packages of very cheap store baught looking discount hamburger buns in the original style packageing from the store. The baked beans were just average, there potato salad was not very good either, being that some of the potatoes were under done and the actual sauce used to make it wasnt all that good. All in All from what we ordered, and what we tried i will never waste my money there again, and i would advise anyone else not to either. Just my opinion, but i thought that good BBQ is supposed to taste smokey, juicey, and full of flavor? Way WAy below finger lickin good!

Been eating the stuff since the days of the trailer and the place next to the video store. Ed makes a good plate of food. The BBQ potato combo is worth checking out. I also recommend the pasta salad. Thanks Ed, I was one of the guinea pigs in the early days. You have a several great places and the foods still top notch.

It is okay, but I have tasted much better BBQ! When I want really good tasting BBQ I drive to Rogers to eat at The Rib Crib. Delicious!! Now that's good BBQ and worth the drive. It far better than Penguin Ed's. The beef, sauce, food quality, portions and selection, price and atmosphere are far superior. I think people who eat at Penguin Ed's are BBQ novices and really have not experienced really good BBQ. I love BBQ and have tried so many places known for good BBQ, such as Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. So if you are used to good BBQ you will be disappointed.
