Heavenly food. Try anything and you'll love it. The sweet tea isn't great, though.
A Taste of Thai II has the best yellow curry I have ever had anywhere. The restaurant is not much to look at. The service is fast (they have it down to a science) even during the busiest lunch hour. The price is more than reasonable. I used to go to A Taste of Thai II about 2-3 times a week. Due to my contracting job, I lived in Northwest Arkansas (NWA) for a couple of years. I donât typically cook (especially since I travel so much during my contracting years), so I sampled numerous restaurants in the area. Now that I have moved away from the area, when people asked what do I miss in NWA, I typically answer âyellow curry at A Taste of Thai.â
What makes the yellow curry so great in this restaurant? The simple answer is that they do not make the dish so sweet like so many of the Thai restaurants do today. Plus, if you want spicy food, they donât soften the blow when you say you want 5 stars or Thai hot. This is down to earth good Thai food without frills. I have tried many other dishes here and although they are good, none come any close to their yellow curry dish.
If your in a rush, not a good place to go. Service is sinfully slow.
If your a business who is trying to get lunch in they will not accept a credit card over the phone. Sadly too to manager seems to have an "I dont care attiude.
I will not be going back here EVER
