Varsity is a nice sports grill and has good service, it is also located on garrison ave. and well within walking distance of many bars. The food was average, i had the reuben sandwich. BUT, be careful what nite you go, i recently went on a friday night and there is a room upstairs they rent out for private parties and such,, they were dancing and the loudest thumping you could imagine was going on but after a while it quit but as i rated the restaurant was average.

This is a very cool place. Good location downtown, nice, big, areas for dinner, pool or game watching. Pizza and onion rings are very good. They have individual game speakers you can set right next to you so you can hear your game. Service is top notch as well. Only improvement would be some HD TVs.
Haven't seen a better bar in Ft. Smith.
