User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOMG You have to try the fish soup. Yes, I said fish soup. Now before you say YUCKO, just hear me out. It has this fresh warm home feeling all wrapped up in a tomato base stock, with fish chunks and shrimp. I was afraid to try but Joe told me to try it and if I didn't like, I didn't pay for it. I have ordered it ever since!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the most wonderful mexican places to eat in Murray County. I used to travel to Ardmore to one of the 3 places there, but why? We have a wonderful place right in our backyard with wonderful friendly owners, that great you at the door, while you eat, and always make sure you are getting enough of whatever you ordered. Free chips and salsa, and don't forget the queso. Free sopapillas and you have to ask for Cheryl to wait on you. She is the best and kids love her! Very attentive and I can't find a thing wrong with the place. Very clean and efficient.

I travel to Davis from Georgia once a month. Simple dishes but great quality. Everything tastes freshly done. Definitely above average quality. Staff very friendly and always crowded but with attentive service. As far as Mexican/southwest fare goes I would give it 4 stars. Great portions, very reasonable prices, Well done food. As a certified food safety professional, the dining room is very clean. I have never seen the kitchen but I'm sure they keep it just as clean. Keep up the good work!

Without a doubt one of the finest eating spots in the state. There is no place you will find a more friendly owner and staff, great food and just hometown hospitality.
Hundreds of off road riders come to Davis to ride at the Cross Bar Ranch Park and when they load up they head to downtown Davis to visit the Romo's and their fine food. Cold beer is available if you partake in such beverages and they have huge frozen mugs with ample amounts of lime to make that Corona one of the best you have very tasted.
Free salsa and queso, free sopapias(sic) following the meal. You won't go away from this place hungry I assure you!
