| About: | Just minutes away from the University of Oklahoma campus in Norman sits the Whispering Pines, a recently constructed Victorian-style home. The two-story property retains all the features of an authentic twentieth-century home and is surrounded by 20 acres of green woodlands. You may also choose to dine in the recently rennovated restaurant, voted "Best Fine Dining" and "Best Kept Secret" in Norman. Antique furnishings fill the five guest rooms, each with its own theme: the English Hunt Room, the Lavender and Lace Room, the Satin Splendor Suite, the Stardust Room, and the Victorian Rose Room. If you desire even more seclusion, the home has an adjacent property, the Pine Cone Cottage, available for reservation. User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsRelaxing!: We had a great honeymoon stay in the emerald suite. What a fabulous bed! Many movies to snuggle up and watch, service was superb, and the blueberry pancakes were great. I would highly recommend this B&B.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsCan't wait to go again: I took my husband here for our 4th wedding anniversary and we had a blast. We were both needing some time away from the city and this was perfect for a night getaway. It's so peaceful. You don't have to worry about hearing all the city sounds (traffic, noisy neighbors, etc.). The only thing I was dissapointed with was the restraunt was closed the night we went (it was a Sunday night). Everything else was great. We stayed in one of the cabins.

It was wonderful. The cottage suites with woodsy surroundings made it cosy and comfortable. The room was beautiful with every amentiy to meet your every need. The breakfast served at your door every morning was so cozy and the food was beautifully presented.
The evening dinner was romantic and so professionally served. Felt like we were in NYC for a lavish dinner. We will be back. Thanks for a wonderful memory. Ron and Sharon Means , Lawton
