    I live in a neighboring town and several people have been telling me to go to Big Jake's in Van Buren. So......I go and can tell you I won't be going back. I ordered steak and potato. This was the toughest steak I have ever gotten, even tougher than the cheap sirloins at most restaraunts. I won't go back, just thought I would share MY experience....

    We stopped on a cross country trip after motel employee recommended Big Jake"s. I ordered the ribs which where absolutely the best I have had. My daughter ordered shrimp and it was excellent. Wish we had been able to take leftovers, but were traveling through. Do they ship? Sarah and Lauri

    I've had better steaks in Oklahoma but the service and food is above average for Arkansas. I love the shelled peanuts, bread, and pinto beans as an appetizer. It is near the interstate with easy access and it offers a variety of food--steak, spaghetti, hamburgers, etc. I always order a steak, sweet potato fries, and a salad. I have enjoyed 3-4 different steaks here and plan to eat here again.
