User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsOf all the places to eat in Norman comparatively speaking, absolutely terrible. Wow a really nice menu show casing, 'To die for' pictures of foods like shrimp, fish and the run of the mill platters.
Basically, this place is over rated, way over priced, bland and a waste of an evening. I would rather go eat at El Chicos and have enough money to get back home. Chelinos Has a plater that is very similar to what I ate tonight. At Chelinos it cost three dollars less, was twice as big and has more flavor. The star is for the salsa and chips. Chelinos could get a couple of tips there.-

The food here used to be made with heart. Now the entire atmosphere has changed. The workers rush you out and could care less about your dinning experience. In fact, if you aren't completely satisfied with your order don't bother complaining because the owner will kick you out. The Quailty of the food has dramatically went downhill. The torillas are no longer homemade, i doubt anything is anymore. The owner of this place has let the success go to his head. The outcome is a rushed dining and sloppy food.

This is my absolute favorite mexican restaurant! I have eaten at many other mexican restaurants in my lifetime and none of them compare to this one. They have the best salsa in the world. I could eat it everyday. The only problem is that the service is so fast that you do not get enough time to eat it. Lol! Your food is usually on the table w/n 10 minutes of you ordering it. Very authentic food and excellent service. You will not be disappointed if you eat here.
