Home to the Oklahoma City Blazers (CHL Hockey) and the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz (AF2 Football), the Ford Center also plays host to major concerts, family events, ice shows, sporting events, and the latest in show stopping entertainment. In the past events have included the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, Jessica Simpson, and Metallica. Located in downtown Oklahoma City, the Ford Center is adjacent to the Cox Business Services Convention Center (formerly the Myriad) and the historic Bricktown dining and entertainment district. The 586,000 square foot facility features four seating levels and a press level. The maximum seating capacity for the Ford Center is 20,817 for a concert set in the round.

Anyone with children visiting, must read this!

This stadium is nice, huge and up to date...kinda.

I went to a basketball game and took our two children. Take cash!!! 1/2 the stands do not take credit cards and the ATM charges 4.00 to take out money.

I could not find a changing table in the ladies restroom. Apparently they can be found in some, not all and in the family restrooms which are few and far between.

I walked from food stand to food stand begging for a microwave for my baby bottle and no one had one. I found one on the lower level and because of liability they could not warm it for me. I ended up asking them for warm tap water to add to the bottle.

I just wasn't pleased overall for family entertainment.

Hornets Rock: If you have not been to a Hornets game, go! You can really tell the difference when the planning and activities are handled by professionals. There is excitement for the whole family.
It is a very enjoyable experience. People say there is nothing to do in OKC. Well have you been to a game?
