The meat here was very bland. The high school kids working were pretty much clueless and useless. The soda out of the fountain had a funny taste; possibly a bleach flavor.
The other reviewer maybe from the south but they haven't been to, too many bbq places either. Well prepared meat makes the biggest difference.
Mister T's just down the street is much better.

The best bbq in town: being from the south we know our barbeque. We go and eat barbeque at least once a month. Let me tell you I have had my share of bad and good. The one resturant that I have found to be good on taste and good on prices is Spencers Smokehouse and barbeque. I love their ribs and they make their own sauce. You can get five ribs and two sides and unlimited rolls and unlimited fruit fritters for 12 dollars. They also have awsome chopped beef sandwhiches. Most of the bbq resturants I have been to, their meat has grissle in it. Not at spencers. They make these awsome little fruit fritters. They are the size of little dougnut holes and they are rolled in powdered sugar after they are fried.
