| About: | In 1940, the Cuellar brothers opened the first El Chico, serving their Mama's very own recipes for authentic Tex-Mex cuisine. Over fifty years later, we are still committed to serving the best. We use only the freshest ingredients in all of our dishes. Our steak fajitas are made with a fresh, never frozen, quality cut of beef and we make our own salsa, chips, beans, rice and other specialties fresh throughout the day. We've got award winning Margaritas, and we couple our food with great service and good prices. |

My husband and I came to eat at El Chico today and we had the combo fajitas with sour cream and guacamole, it was really good. The sour cream kind of tasted funny, but oh well. Our waitress was really a bright spot in our day. She was so friendly and willing to do anything to keep us happy. I probably would have complained about the sour cream but she kept making me laugh that I forgot about it. I will be back at El Chico very soon, as it has become our new favorite restaurant. Good Luck to you girl with college and we will see you very soon.

Food okay. Steak is good but all the sides with it are icky. Steak is really good though.
Great food, good service...not cheap, but you get what you pay for most of the time.
