I purchased a car about 3 years ago from Battisons and was told how good of a car it was. I made payments on it and on my last payment my car was dead. Then last year I purchased another used vehicle and the first night it died on me at a stop light and the tires they had put on the car was out of balance. I took it back to have them fix the problem and they said there was nothing wrong with my vehicle but did take it back and have the tires balanced. My car dies all of the time when I'm driving used to it would happen when my foot was off of the gas peddle now it happens when ever. About 6 months after I purchased it I took it back up to the shop and explained to them what was happening and they told me it looked like it was a transmission problem and drained the transmission. That did not help and then they told me that theres a chip that needs to be replaced and will cost me $400. While I was there very upset of what a crappy deal this has turned out to be the guy who sold me the car was trying to sell me another car. I am very disappointed and will never purchase another car from here.
I recently bought a New Chevy Silverado at Battison Auto from Thom Murphy. I was amazed with his knowledge of the product and the great deal he made me. I had been shopping around for weeks when I decide to call the dealership in Duncan, OK. I asked for sales and spoke with Thom Murphy. He answered all of my questions and set an appointment for me to come in. When I came in he already new what kind of truck I was looking for, and took me straight to them. It turned out that they didn't have one just like I wanted. However, Thom told me he could have the truck I wanted in two days. Well, I didn't want to drive back another 45 miles to get the truck if I bought it. Then Thom asked if he could beat my other deals and if I didn't have to make the drive if he could earn my business. I thought there was no way that would happen, so, I said sure. When we went in to negotiate the price Thom was very low pressure. He simply asked what the other dealers had offered to sell me the truck for. I told him, he left to talk to his manager, then came back and said he could beat it by $500. I was shocked. I had been shopping for weeks and low balled my best offer by a $1000. Thom beat it by another $500 for a total of $1500 of my next best offer!!! Then he said he would bring my truck to my house 45 miles away with a full tank of gas. I agreed and again asked how long it would take to get the truck to me. Thom again told me it shouldn't take more than a couple of days. He even gave me another brand new Silverado to drive in the mean time. I was happy to be out of my old truck and enjoying the new Silverado. As I was driving home I was smiling the whole way, thinking of the great deal I'd made and how easy Thom was to deal with. To my surprise Thom called the next day and asked if he could deliver my truck to me that day. As promised he arrived with a full tank of gas. After a couple of days Thom called to check up on me to make sure I was happy. When I told him I wished I had gotten some winter floor mats in the deal he told me he would sell them to me at dealer cost. How cool is that? I've bought a lot of trucks in my life, been to a ton of dealerships, and dealt with even more salesmen. Never in my life have I been so impressed. I would recommend Battison to everyone, and HIGHLY recommend they try to work with Thom Murphy.
Pros:
Price, Professionalism, Knowledge, Service, Selection.
Cons:
Spoils you to other Dealerships / Salespeople. Possibly location?
Disappointed and Cheated: My recent experience in purchasing a vehicle at Battison Cadillac in Duncan was a bad and unethical disappointment. Not only was my paperwork for my vehicle misplaced numerous times, but in the end I not only ended up with a vehicle being taken away from me after 30 days, but also did not receive my $1,000 downpayment in full. Don't be mislead by this car dealership, they are unethical, uncaring and unsure of how to handle business. A very unhappy, out of money and no car former customer.
