Comet Cleaners

I RATE THIS PLACE 0!!! I relocated to Lawton and wanted to find a cleaners with drive thru service. All was fine until my shift changed and I got off at five. Understanding that I was in the five o'clock rush, I was patient. I didn't mind waiting in the drive thru for twenty minutes. (Once you get in, there's no getting out.)

After about the 4th time, I decided to start going in to pick up my dry cleaning. After dropping off 10 items, the young lady working the counter said the presser was down and that I could pick up the 6 that were ready but she would have to keep my ticket. I opted to come back the next day with my ticket and pick them all up at once. Came back the next afternoon and she told me they were still not ready. So I took what was ready and she wrote a number on the ticket and let me keep it. I was starting to get upset. She said she would leave a note for the night time people. I came back on a Friday night (needing everything for the weekend.) She then proceeded to tell me that she could not find my 10th garment. Since I had never had an issue with a dry cleaners I didn't take a mental note of what I brought and I hadn't looked at what I picked up the night before.

She invited me to come back behind the counter and look through the clothes to see if I could find any of my stuff. Well, I did find a satin belt that went to a shirt....luckily. Now, for the life of me I cannot figure out what I am missing and nothing there was mine other than the belt.

The girls that work there are so young and have no public relation skills that they don't know what to do in that kind of situation. They don't apologize, offer discounts, etc. They aren't even really friendly. Sounds like bad management to me!

I would not recommend this cleaners under any circumstances! There attitude is definitely one of, "Oh well, sucks to be you!"

i went here with a wool coat. it came back to me covered in lint and hairs that werent from my head and the coat smelled like cigarette smoke! i complained to the manager and it fell on deaf ears. she claimed they cleaned it and ran it through a lint roller. yeah right. they still charged me twelve bucks. spend your money elsewhere!
