great neighborhood grocery store: I remember as a child I would visit Taft Grocery atleast once a day because I stayed right down the street from it and they had the greatest selection of candy. They have good prices on their meats and groceries and they have alot of things you might not find at ur typical neighborhood store. The people who work there are nice. Last year I took a trip back to Lawton for the 1st time in 9 years and Taft grocery was exactly as I had remembered it. And some of the same people still work there. Brought back alot of memories.
