When I purchased my car there, I was told that I could get a better interest rate if I bought an extended warranty, so after being talked into it, I did. I called my lien holder after the fact and asked why the interest rate depended on me buying an extended warranty and they said they have never required that for better rates, also I referred a friend and they did the same thing to him. I was able to cancel my extended warranty, in return they were unable to recieve the commission on that warranty. I had referred a friend, before I knew the kind of business they ran and after talking to him later, they did the same thing to him. I feel they are a very crooked dealership and only care about their commission, not the customer. I was very frustrated with them and then they tried to blame it on the "new" finance manager.
This dealership cannot be trusted! We purchased a new car there on 3-30-08. As part of the deal we traded in an 05 Kia Sportage that had a payment that was to be automatically withdrawn on 4-15-08. We asked the dealership personnel about it THREE different times and we were told "not to worry about it," it would not be withdrawn. They claimed they contacted the lender and had taken care of everything including the payment- 3 times. As it turned out they never contacted the lender, they simply paid the balance shown on our credit bureau reports and did not accomplish that until 4-14-08. As a result the payment was withdrawn from our account costing us $297.00 in overdraft charges. We contacted the Sales Manager by phone who promised to get back with us but never did, the General Manager by letter who has never responded to us in any way. We filed a complaint with the BBB and they have failed to respond to that as well. They made a big deal out us now being a part of the "Fiesta family," as if they actually cared, but obviously they don't care beyond getting the contract signed.
The best car buying experience I've had....: I have no credit and I was able to get a minivan with no down payment! They were very helpful and tried very hard to find a lender that would work for myself and my husband. If you ever need a car, new or used give them a try first.
