Eight of us were comfortably seated together at one of the home style tables. As the previous reviewers stated we were treated to cowboy sized helpings. My wife and I ordered the Sirloin for two and left with a to go box with one full and one half steak.
For the adults, the Silver Dollar now has a full beer menu along with Woodchuck Cider. The Eagles were getting stomped by the Cardinals on the 42" TV screens.
Definitely worth a trip to Collinsville for a good family meal. You just might find us there on Super Bowl Sunday.
It's pretty good. if i had to complain about anything it would be their french fries.. Someone should teach the cooks to faux blanch their fries. The fries tend to be rather "gloppy" they use fresh potatoes cut very thick, but
under-cooked and grease saturated.with no crispiness what so ever
Try Some... I'm sure you'll be disappointed.... a quick minute and a half bath in the grease follow by a rest then perhaps maybe 3 to 4 more minutes and the fries would be awesome crispy and fit to eat...but ya can't have everything. on the whole it is a nice place to eatwhile in Collinsville.
Great Hometown experience: We love the hometown atmosphere! The unique old building, the smiling service, the yummy food. Can't be beat.
Feel like going home again? SilverDollar is the place to go.
I don't know much about stars or other fancy ratings. I just know good food and this is where to get it in Collinsville, OK.
Anyone traveling through the area -- easy place to find, just exit 146th street North/ HWY 20 off of 169S. Go up about a mile or so, you are in downtown Collinsville. Silver Dollar is on the North side of the road.
