User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWell I was just reading this comment and review.. And read about small town mentality.. I guess this person does not really know what they are talking about.. Yes Montana mikes did go down for a while.. But the last time Me and my wife were there it was great.. The food was awesome.. The service was a little behind but they were extremely packed.. I hade the famouse 22oz sirloin and it was awesome.. I know that they had recently changed managment at the middle of last year.. I think the management is doing an excellant job brinbibg this place back up.. There are alot of just negative people in this world.. New management keep up the good work!! This really is the best place in town for an awesome steak!!!

I have been to Mike's at first it was good than it went down hill! My husband is a steak freak and knows his steaks as much as he likes to eat them, BUT at Mikes the manager the night we went argued that the steak I got was a Rib eye! It was a sirloin! (I hate sirloin!)My husband ordered a sirloin and he got a piece of rubber that didn't even look like a sirloin! Yet the short blond manager was adamant that we were served the correct steak! We never wanted to go back after that. Than we had company come to town and they wanted to go to Mike's, UGH! We went for them and with a party of nine; five being children! Only two meals came out! The same arrogant manager said that the printer was messed up! At least she could have made up a better lie as we ordered in order around the table, the two that got their food weâre in the middle of the table and separated by four others order! (We ordered on one check!) The arrogant lying Manager offered up dessert, it didn't do any good as her 5 minutes turned out to be 30 more minutes! Dessert is fine but did nothing for the seven that had to sit and watch two eat and finish their meal in the discomfort of eating in front of the children!I see this as small town thinking! There is only a few places to go here so they think they can do as they please, this would never fly in the city!

I really think that you have the small minded mentality.. It is a restaurant.. Especially a busy one at that.. It seems that individuals like you need to stay home and cook more often.. I think if the manager told you that it was not a ribeye it probably wasnt.. I have been there many times and I met the new management.. They, I dont think, are not even from this town.. So the small minded town syndrome you are talking about wont work.. If you dont like my town of Bartlesville Leave please!!!!!! I'm sure others would agree....
I agree you seem rather simple minded and arrogant for being such. You should feel ashamed that you know more than the management who deals in such everyday does. I think that you were intimidated by the manager personally, did she look better? As a final note- if you have children who cannot maintain composure in a public place while others eat dessert than that is sad in itself. Why couldn't the other adults have been polite and wait? Do you even have experience in this industry seeing as you are so quick to judge the manager? Get a life.
