    I won't even rate them with one star the service sucks and the food takes for ever after you order. and the manager dosen't care

    ok, we were all excited when we aquired this sonic several years ago. Corporate needs to visit this one weekly. I only recieve cheese on ANY burger about 10% of the time. They can get about that many orders right also! This is terrible. So many of us locals don't even want to bother with them, good thing for them they are situated on the main hwy flowing through.
    Actually, why is it that almost ALL sonics forget you have not only paid for, but ordered cheese to be put on your order!? This is just a terrible problem Across The Board, no matter what state you're in. Maybe an electric cheese button would help? I've even been told by the car hops this is a major problem. Can you believe it, and it hasn't been taken care of already by doing something to prevent this. We love sonic burgers, it is really sad these things keep us from stopping the times we just cannot afford to give the time it takes to get an order 'correct-ed', along with so many other folks that feel the same! Families 'Extra Time Slots' now days are a rare commodity for everyone. Perkins folks are very family orinated, very busy with family, their children, friends, and involved with many community activities at home here plus those that take us away. The athletic events are all year, so when you need to get your order in a timely manner in order to be somewhere else in a timely manner, Why Would One Want To Frequent The Sonic. You already wait for your order, you get it, then it takes another 5 minutes or so to get it Corrected! Then as you sit there, 1/2 the time you are already about to starve, then to have to send your food BACK!? It gets REAL OLD. If you can't get your help to enter an order correctly, and/or one to carry it out correctly in the kitchen, maybe sonic needs to pay better wages so that they can hire folks that can read, and know how to put the correct order together. I feel sorry for the car-hops.

    Again, so much of this is across the board. The first Sonic was In Stillwater Oklahoma. This is just too Common and too close to home, a problem for too long. You would think Corporate would give a-care-about all this by now. They have to know. Just 2 days ago we stopped, 2 of us, here in Perkins. One burger was PICKLES ONLY, NO onion, tomatoes, lettuce. It had pickles, lettuce AND onion.

    The other burger was w/cheese and all veggies, they got that correct but NO CHEESE!!! This is rediculous. I love those burgers, but kinda like a box of chocolates ... You never really know what you're gonna get!

    How can Corporate justify to themselves that this kind of service, which is so wasteful to the customers time, and One would 'think' out of Corporates pocket, why can't they - want to get it together?

    You rarely see this at restaurants, much less other drive ups.

    This company is more than 1/2 a century old! Do they even train, if so, who does the training. They need to look at SOMETHING, Big Time.

    Is their policy to try and hire mainly disabled workers in on SSD, where it benefits BOTH Sonic and the Hiree? Please get it together, can you, finally?

    Just any kind of Literate Mgt & head cooks maybe? The same for order takers, fillers, and order checkers. Half the time at the car they read you off your order, and don't even know if it's correct in the bag! They do all the leg work for those inside. Health regulations should prevent the opening of someones order once it has left the kitchen. (I have seen this done in front of me, opened it up, handled it, then gave me back the part of the order that was correct, I about died!)

    There are options when you really don't want to let a hiree go b/c their work ethic are not up to par.

    All in all, how much does it cost to train and get good help. It should be alot less than keeping those that just don't/can't or won't care.

    I recently visted the sonic again and they are now under new managment and the service seems to have improved I got my order very fast and the carhop was very freindly.My order was even made right the first time they also checked back with me to make sure I didn't need anything else.I would have to say there service has improved and I hope it stays that way.
