âSo much for doing laundry on a Tuesday afternoon in Stillwater!â
Well, I think I just had the WORST experience ever in a public service facility. I have had bad waitresses, etc but this was well beyond that. I just went to do laundry at âDuds N Sudsâ in Stillwater, OK and left feeling like a criminial. I am a 24 year old pregnant college student with blonde hair and glasses, I do not have any piercings or tattoos and do not think I would appear as a hoodlum with my large belly and sweatsâ¦. Anyhow I went into the laundry and placed my clothes in a washer and went to ask for change. You have to get dollar bills to use the quarter machine, anyhow I asked for 5 ones for my 5 dollar bill, the woman told me âWell I canât give you change if you are not going to use it in my machines!â meanwhile I had filled 5 machines each of which cost 1.25 to use, so I did need the change for my five along with the cash I already had in my hand. Well she told me I had already begun washing when none of my machines were turned on. So she gives me the money, so Iâm like ok no biggie bad day, something, but she had just been overly polite you a dressed up woman in heels who she had helped two seconds before me. Then after all my clothes were washed I began removing them, I guess I did not think about using a different machine for my comforter as I had washed it the night before in the same machine (accident in the night, I have 3 dogs) but when the lady saw me pull my comforter out she said I needed to use big machines next time. Anyhow I was going to put my clothes in the dryers and only one large one was open so I put the comforter and some other things in the max capacity dryer and turned it on. Next I needed to buy a ticket to run the smaller dryers, when I asked for the ticket she told me that âYou need to find somewhere else to do your laundry because you come in here overfilling and not using my machines properly, etcâ¦.â Which I suppose she had a point but I had never even seen this woman before this was the second time in less than 24hrs I had been at that laundry mat and she was treating me like a criminal or delinquent individual. Anyhow maybe between my pregnancy hormones and the pure shock of the situation I am writing this review, but honestly I was so UPSET!! I think the part that made the situation even harder for me to believe was that I had been in that exact same laundry mat the night before using the same machines, in the same manner I did this afternoon. I have never been treated so poorly in my life at a public service facility! I urge someone in Stillwater to open another laundry or quit using hers because I donât think her treatment of me was at all appropriate!!!

I'm pretty sure I know exactly which woman you're talking about! I go there regularly, and there's only one worker who's been rude to me. So it wasn't your pregnancy hormones b/c she really is overly harsh and impolite!!!
Next time go to Washing Town laundry... used to be Crestview Laundry. It is located East of Jardot on 6th. The staff is so nice, it is very, very clean, and it is huge. Give them a try. You will never go anywhere else!
