The chairs are terribly uncomfortable and they crowd 9 adults into one table, you are shoulder to shoulder and can't even enjoy your meal for the discomfort of the chairs and the overcrowding.
Amazing place to eat! I recently ate here for my best friend's birthday with his family, and its gotta be my favorite restaurant experience! The chefs are very nice, funny and EXTREMELY skilled at their jobs. I forgot it was a restaurant sometimes watching the fancy cooking, right until they placed the next delicious piece of food to eat in front of me! Keep up the great work Shoguns! I'll be back again, and again, and again!
Wow what a big disappointment!! I was told this was the best Japanese steakhouse in Tulsaâ¦people you are sadly misinformed. First off they have no sushi. I was shocked. I have never been to a Japanese steakhouse that did not have sushi. Secondly the cook (I refuse to use the word chef here) had the enthusiasm of a grazing cow. We had more fun watching the cook two tables over. As did the rest of the restaurant because that guy was the only one enjoying his job. I looked around the place and it was flat. Nobody was having the fun I remember having at the last steakhouse I went to. The waitress was a twitâ¦throwing and spilling everything. And when I told the manager how disappointed I was and how I thought the whole point of the place was to be exciting he had a deer in the headlights look and mumbled an apology. So you can read below how romantic and fun this place is but on 4/3/2009 it was terrible. Try a different place. And good luck.

You should do research on what they serve before going in next time. Shoguns do have a site, you know? It's all hibachi grill, not a sushi place, by the way. If you want sushi and steak, try the nearest Shoguns in Arkansas. Not all Shogun steakhouses are the same.
Jocelyn, I'm sure they are all not alike. I got my info about this place from people at work and they were pretty sure it had sushi. But the sushi was minor compared to the poor service.
