Bj's Restaurant & Brewery

Today was the first and last time I will ever eat at B&J's Restaurant. The food was good but the service was so slow, but that is not the reason I will eat there. The service my family and I received was the worst service. The waitress was rude, arguing with my daughter that she did not ask for a drink, waving a plate of food in my husband's face to take it from her hand, and having my daughter put her plate of food in a pile of soggy wet paper towels, which my daughter went to get because she had spilled her water. The putting the plate on wet paper towels was the last straw. There are so many other things that I could write about. Needless to say, we won't go back again. Should have read the reviews on this restaurant before I went. Would have saved me the aggravation!

waitstaff does hand plates to the customer at times. when they are carrying several plates its hard to clean up a mess like the wet paper towels be fore siting the food down. some folks get upset about the wait for their food. we do not operate like the up-scale restaurants and have you stand and wait for a table when we are busy. We let all customers sit at any open table and then do our best to get you served. We are the best full service restaurant in Tahlequah. Our prices are fair our food is Great. and has been for 13 years. Im the boss and my phone is 918-931-2860. I will be glad to help you

I will never go back to this place. Service was worse than terrible and the food, was running to and from the bathroom all night. I know people who like this place and those are peoples houses I will not eat at or visit. If you think this place is nice... I don't want to see what you think bad is.

DON'T EAT AT B & J'S IN TAHLEQUAH, OKLA--ROACHES!!: Me and my husband ate there about a month ago. The place seemed really dirty and shortly after we got our food, we saw a roach crawl right beside us. It doesn't help matters that I have a phobia of roaches (give me spiders or snakes anytime, but roaches scare the heck out of me). Anyway, we lost our appetite right after we saw the roach and we literally had just taken two bites of our food beforehand. We told the waitress what we saw and that we didn't want to pay for our food because we can no longer eat here due to the roach infestation problem. She was not very pleasant about it and was not apologetic at all, proceeding to say, "Well, OK, but it will come out of my check." The sympathy ploy did not work with us. She tried to say it several more times. Needless to say, we will never eat there again.

The waitress who tried to give us the "OK, it will come out of my check" sob story frequents Keetoowah Casino across the street. The several times a year we go to that casino, she is ALWAYS there and the casino staff are kissing her a**, so my impression is that she spends her entire paycheck there. So much for a sob story...
