    Some 33 enthusiasts of WheresGeorge met for a Quarterly Gathering on January 31st. The meeting space set aside was exceptional. It had to be, to be comparable to the food, which was excellent. Those ribs are fantastic. The Sampler Platter allows for the full gamut of tastings. The service is very efficient. Please accept our appreciation for the meeting place. We will, most likely, see you next January.

    Head Country is decent enough and is way better known, but Dougan's is superior. The ribs are especially incredible (Head Country's fail the first test, which is tenderness), with the pork shoulder close behind. Brisket is very good, not the tenderest in the world, but with tremendous flavor. Potato salad & beans are the standout sides.

    absolutely the best BBQ! Easy to find and the friendliest staff. I love the beef brisquet but if you love ribs you will like the pork also!
