About:Bring your Mom here so she can replicate some of the incredible, home-cooked dishes served here daily! If you come here more than once, you'll notice more regulars than at any other place in Dallas. Specialties include the Chicken Fried Steak ("smothered steak" to those who didn't grow up in the South!) and the excellent, tender Pot Roast. Hot, flaky biscuits are served with most meals and the chocolate cream pie is among the finest ever made.

    My friend introduced me to this restaurant, and I must say, they do have some very good, down-home meals. At first i was hesitant to stop by there, but my friend encouraged me. So thanks friend!! Again, food is great, and wonderful hostesses.

    i never tried babes before i worked there...but i think its a really good place if your very very hungry. i get irritated when people ask for ranch for the salad (dont have it...sorry) but the house dressing is pretty good. the biscuits are amazing (and addicting) and all of the food is wonderful in my opinion (and Southern Living magazine of course) but may i remind you that they serve COMFORT FOOD...so nothing is diet, or healthy here...get over it. Babes doesnt advertise...they get business by word of mouth, so thats kinda interesting. The prices are 10.99 unless you want catfish which is 11.99 and ribs is 12.99, but thats how much you would spend at any restaurant these days anyway. Its okay to spoil yourself ever once in a while right?
