Thats not true i also went there for medical asst. and my friends and i were very happy and loved high tech, my friends and i are all working from jobs we got from grad placement, you probably missed alot of school and didnt even graduate!
When I was there I had fun and learned alot for my teacher in Criminal Justice. The staff of the school was always friendly and everybody was happy. I see it as you can make your time there fun or bad. So just leave it up the person to make their own choices about High Tech Institute.
I agree on the review. As Criminal Justice student, we received almost NOO assistance. After finishing my classes, i received only 1 lead. We were given noooooo PD classes, no externships. nothing. we were the stepchildren of High Tech.
I agree. I had a horrible time at this place. I did make top grades, but when needed help for placement, they did nothing. I had one externship interview, and that was a day before I left school for good. You pay too much and don't get many things out of it. You have to may so much more extra for your certificates, classes, and so on. Research more schools before settling on this one.
i was totallly unsatisfied with this whole school. particulary the "GRAD PLACMENT" department. i had 1 interview, i didnt expect to get it.. it was a long shot... so about a week later i had to meet "grad placement" and they basically blamed me for not getting the job? screw them.. i took out 2 freakin loans for this garbage? False advertisment, misleading information and basically i would check out the other schools in the area before you sign anything!!! however i did like my classmates and the teacher.. it wasnt her fault..
