The food was great, a lot of traditional dishes and some American dishes for those not into the traditional. Kid friendly and large beer selection on tap 45+ and in bottles 50+. The dishes are on the high side but the pints are cheep. The place gets loud in the evenings so be prepared. Good lunch specials and even a weekend brunch. on a personal note, try the Irish Egg. It's very different and sounds weird but you will like it.

Best bar/restaurant in Frisco. Great food and great beer selection. One of the few places around that has an old-time feeling to it. Bartenders and waiters are really good too. Not a lot of turnover compared to other places.

My husband and I went to the Irish Rover about a month ago (May09) with a bunch of friends. The waiter was a little dinghy but the service was great and the beer selection is awesome. The food is not quite worth what you pay for - especially the appetizers. The Crab Cakes were not bad and neither was the Haddock and Chips. Overall, it was good and we plan on going back in a couple of weeks with the same friends.
