User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsto the Jasey poster. kens is all right in my book. I had some work done at another shop and they screwed my truck up. I took it back and they told me that soemthing else was wrong and they charged me more money.
Kens redid all of the work for me and even got me some warrenty on the parts that the other shop had put on. parts that I didnt even need!!!!

Ken's is very questionable. I went and tried to get a alignment and was told that it could not be done because my passenger side wheel bearing was going out and so was the tire rod. They wanted to charge me over $300 dollars in labor + parts. The wheel bearing was $150 because it was a complete assembly with a housing and tire rod was $34. The only problem was the wheel bearing which I had replaced for $150 dollars + $50 labor at Alonzo's Auto Repair down the street @ 509 Shepherd, Irving, TX. Tire rod was fine and had no problems. After finding this out I got my alignment else where recommended by Alonzo's because they did not have the wheel alignment machine. Thanks Alonzo's Auto Repair, Ken's Auto Repair can suck it.

They saved me $540.00!!!! Another place was telling me I needed things I didn't. Thanks Ken's!!!!! They are the most honest place I've been to.

So? they told you that you needed a wheel bearing, which apparently you did, you admitted having it replaced elsewhere. I don't understand what you seem to be so upset about. So you managed to find a cheaper price? not such a big deal, chances are, you got a CHEAPER QUALITY part too. you can always cut corners to save money. That's what I like about Kens. They stand behind what they do, they DON'T use cheap parts, and they don't cut corners. I'll stick with Kens for my work.
