Pathetic way of handling new/prospect customers. I was told more than couple of times that I parked my car at a wrong place and that is why nobody could see you in the dealership. I test drove a vehicle in a different dealership before and came here to show the vehicle to my family. The person asked me why didn't you buy the car when you test drove it before. I had to explain him the whole situation. The dealer didn't have color that I was looking for and the salesperson was very adamant in telling that I won't get the color anywhere around the area. It was closest to my place so they could get my business but I won't go there now.

Sure wish I would have read these reviews before going to Toyota of Irving. The experience of getting a new car hasn't changed. Even tho they ask you what it will take for them to sell you a car - you still have to dicker back and forth several times until you are so worn down - you just give in. The salesperson and manager were quoting me a monthly payment based on my current percentage rate, knowing full well I had planned on going thru Toyota and their rate was higher. Nice surprise - UGH.
Also love the fact that when called to see how my experience was - I said NOT SO GOOD - and the lady said she would have someone from Toyota of Irving call me - it's been 3 weeks - NO CALLS! GO FIGURE! If I had said my experience was good, I'm positive they would have been calling and calling and calling!
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

If you are considering buying a car here, make sure that you are well-informed and know how to calculate payments with interest. When I was shopping for a car there, I had an extremely difficult time getting the sales price of the car. The sales person kept pressuring me to buy a car that day and asking for my social security information to run my credit. I told her that I was simply shopping and wanted to know the price of the car; I was not willing to give my credit information. After waiting for 30 minutes and after the sales person consulted with her manager at least two times, the sales person came back with various monthly payments depending on the finance period. She did not give me a sales price of the car even though I had specifically asked for the price and NOT the monthly payment amount. I wrote down the information that I was given (they would not let me take the paper with the price quotes) and sat down with my financial calculation at home later that day. When I did the calculations, I realized that the sales price of the care must be ABOVE MSRP and they must have used an interest rate of at least of 24%!!!! I have never seen anything so dishonest, especially for customers that are unsophicated in these matters. Beware!!!!!!

I decided to buy my car from Pat Lobb Toyota of McKinney. I loved the place, despite the drive! My sales person was straight forward, and I felt that I was being treated honestly and with respect. I got a good price on my car, but more importantly, I did not walk away with the dirty/slimy feeling that I had when I left Toyota of Irving.
