I stayed here last weekend (October 9-10), and the amenities and staff were exceptional, but the room service food was terrible. So salty that it was painful to swallow (Tomato Soup of the Day), basil pesto with no basil taste plus excessive salt and mystery meat (Pasta with Mystery Meat and Basil Pesto), a PBJ Sandwich (stale tasting bread, very small portion of P&J), fruit cup with a suspicious smell. We could only eat a few bites. But the dessert was very good (mouse cake)...probably purchased/made off site.
Great hotel ! I stayed in Dallas for a week on business and was lucky enough to stay overnight at the Renaissance. Great service, great food, .. the staff was so accommodating. I don't often sleep through the night while traveling (comforts of home) .. but was able to do so here. I will absolutely return !
