I went under Dr. Nickersons care about five years ago and received a crown. The crown started to break apart after only four years. I was surprized because the last crown I received prior to this one has lasted well over twenty years.
These things happen and I understand that, heres the sad part.
My husband contacted Dr. Nickersons office via email to get some information as to how long crowns typically last, if the crown might be defective, who manufactured the crown, could Dr. Nickerson contact out new dentist here in Washington D.C., etc.
We received no response.
My husband called Dr. Nickerson's office and spoke with the office manager. The office managers only intent seemed to be to defend the appliance and blame its short life spand on my eating habits. She then said that she would forward our emails to Dr. Nickerson. We never received a reply. My husband called again, emails forwarded to Dr. Nickerson, still no response from Dr. Nickerson.
Its been over three months, still nothing.
I really liked Dr. Nickerson, but her lack of concern for a patient after she has been paid for her services, and the defensive attitude of her office personel should be considered before becoming a client.
Dr. Nickerson is by far the BEST DENTIST I have ever experienced! She and her staff are caring, friendly and have a spirit of excellence. My sons love her as well...and my son Nathanael is a BIG CHICKEN when it comes to going to the dentist...they have amazing patience with him. :-)
CANNOT RECOMEND
