User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI will never take my family back to this sorry excuse of a cafe. The food was horrible and was not even what we had ordered. We ate the food anyway due to the time that it took to get it. Our waiter not once even offered refills for our drinks. Another waitress came by, I guess could see that I was not happy and offered drink refills. My wifes food was brought to her cold. I am sure that the comments that you read on here that are positive, came from employees who work for this rediculous place. I will be sure to advise all of my peers who bad this place actually is. I would never recommend this to anyone.

I will not go back to Cheddar's in Sherman ever again, and have a hard time giving my business to any location. My family dined at the Sherman restaurant within the past couple of months. The waiter sat a tray of sweet tea on the top of the back of my booth and it fell off, spilling the entire tray of tea on me. I was soaked and sticky. The tables around us were horrified for me. We got NOTHING from management - no discount, no comp, no coupons... just a "sorry" and a walk off. The "manager" offered to dry clean my t-shirt and blue jean shorts. Seriously? I can wash them myself! I had to walk out of the restaurant looking like I used the bathroom on myself. I do not feel like the manager or corporate made an effort to keep my family as customers and compensate me for the embarrassment I endured. We were regular customers - dining there every other week or two. I contacted corporate through the e-mail on their website and explained what happened, but got no response at all. Nothing. Cheddar's is losing customers (and not just my family) because of their lack of concern for their customers in our case.

I love this place. Out of the chain restaurants like chilis, applebees, etc... this is my favorite. The atmosphere is usually very good. The food is also very good.
