Ballard Street Cafe & Grill

We have been here often and like to take visitors from overseas for a typical American breakfast. The breakfast is generally good and the street setting is fantastic as well as the original interior, but unfortunately it is spoiled by the overly large, HUGE school banners which just detract from what could be a really charming period interior. Support the local schools by all means, but a smaller poster would suffice. Service usually good with friendly staff. We'll be back.

This is homecooking at its finest. The breakfast here is just like the breakfast my great grandma would make me when I was a kid. Everyone is friendly. It gets busy on the weekends so if you don't go early, you will have to wait for a table. We go at least once a month if not more! FYI: They make coconut cream and chocolate cream pies that are sinfully delicious!

We were regulars of this place until last Saturday. It was busy and we were seated. The 2 couples behind us that were waiting were seated 5 minutes after us. They were served before us! We waiting 20 minutes and no one came to take our drink order. We have been going here every weekend for over a year. Needless to say we will not be back because of the horrible customer service we had that day.
