User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsDid not enjoy our stay. We came into town for a quick visit. was told the Adams Mark was a nice 4 star hotel with military discount.
Found out later it was now the Sharton. No military discount. Arrived to no parking. Slow check in. One clerk at front desk to check everyone in. Hotel was packed with people. had to make reservation over phone. Bed took up intire room. Only one sink in bathroom. Regular tub and shower. Mold on shower wall tiles. Hair on the floor. Shower did not drain right. TV was small. No room to move around. Only 2 towels. Room service treys sat outside rooms from the time we checked in at 6 until 11 when we called to have them removed. Slow checkout. This hotel will nickel and dime you to death.
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThis hotel is no longer the Adam's Mark; it's now a Sheraton. We found it through an internet travel service and got a great deal on the room...but since checking in, we've discovered that this place likes to "nickel and dime" its guests to death. $14/day to park (no laughing matter since we're here for 10 days), $9.95/24 hours for internet access, 25 cents for a local phone call, 45 cents per day for picking up the USA Today they leave at your door, etc., etc... We love the location of this hotel - downtown, right on the DART Rail line, and with a great view - but it's a good thing we got a deal on the room; these little-bitty "extra" charges are eating our lunch!
