| About: | This watering hole is located in downtown and is frequented mostly by a white-collared crowd. It has pool tables for entertainment and the bar serves some exotic drinks. The food is mostly local cuisine but nothing much to write home about. If you visit the bar in the football season, you will find a special Bloody Mary bar over the weekends. |

BEST bar in Downtown, hands down! Discovered it just as Josh took over and loved it immediately. Really not sure about the 'white-collar crowd' description, the people that visit come from all walks of life from locals to visiting conventioners (including the dreaded Mary Kay crowd that never tip apparently!) Perhaps the guy who wrote up the bar walked in during lunch time during the week and assumed it was full of business types all the time. Live music is awesome with local artists supported almost every day it seems. Barstaff are fun and very loyal to the bar. Michaela is crazy but a heart of gold, Dusty is a blast, Toby is...well, if you live Downtown, you already know Toby, Jessica's just plain ol' cute and friendly and Josh runs the place in a very laid back yet professional way that everyone who visits appreciates. Can't say enough good things about this place, it's my local watering hole so i'm biased, but as a Scottish exile living it up here in Dallas, it's everything you could ask for in a REAL bar. You can also laugh at the uptown crowd that walk in thinking it's Obar or something and guess how many seconds it takes for them to run out, scared. My fave quote from one of the 'Dallas Blondes', "It's too bar-y".
GREAT BAR!!
They have some of the best food in Downtown, and at an extremely good price. . . It's a little smoky but well worth it for the food.
Very Welcoming, Nice and Relaxed: Read Risible's review and just had to add my own - I was one of the out of town guests catered for - very out of town - England in fact! and that review is spot on, its a gorgeous little bar, very very welcoming, great atmosphere. Agree with the Cheers comment too. My idea of a lovely little American bar and a great venue, and nothing is too much trouble.
