    What a find! Rockett Cafe & Club is authentic in a rustic, but modern way, since it has been there for a long time. Decor makes use of all the things you expect to find in the barn from rusty barbed wire, tools to various horse bits that no doubt were well used. Had been recommended to get chicken-fried steak -- the large or small plate. Well, the large order nearly spills over the oval-sized platter along with Texas toast & mashed potatoes (skins on). Gravy was nice consistency (light, no lumps). Go hungry or ask for container to take the rest home. No homemade desserts but no matter because it was all very satisfying. Gary is great! Ask for him by name because he knows everybody including the celebrities who walk in the door -- you'll be one, too. We were well attended to although we did arrive early enough on a clear, crisp Saturday night with the music warming up. By the time we left around 7:00 pm the place was filled up with diners. Thumbs up!

    We eat here often with friends. Food is good as long as the place isn't packed. The best chicken fried steak in the area. Cold beers, good tea.
    Service is always very good. Total visits, maybe 10 times. :)

    Can't wait to go back to Rockett Cafe: First time we have ever been. Food was GREAT! Best Chicken Fried Steak I have ever ate anywhere. Oh for those onion rings, they were delicious. The service was great. The food was out very fast. A very down home place and Butch and Darlene are quite friendly. They make your dining like you are at home. If you have never been I recommend it! They also have a Bar where Karoke is on Friday and Saturday nights. There are a lot of locals & every one is very freindly.
