User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsMy husband and I went there to eat and were very disapointed! It wasn't even 6 pm and they were out of ribs, the beans they served were cold, the brisket was OK but was room temperature. The BBQ sauce was thin and runny, and for $20 we had the priveledge to eat on styrafoam plates and use plastic forks. They may have been in business for 25 years but I won't go back, I prefer using real dishes and sitting in grown up chairs.

Have used Wood Pit for 25 years, meat has always been great, its cut while you wait and is not full of grizzle. Service is great.
This is the only real barbeque there is. 
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsUm Um good: It is true what they say about little hole in the wall restaurants & Wood Pit is one of the best. I know, I have been all over the US & have always tried to find BBQ that compared to the Wood Pit's, nothing comes close. I also know that this place has been open for @ least 24 years.If a place stays in business that long it is definitely worth visiting.So if your looking for GREAT BBQ swing by & try. You will be hooked from then on.
