well i like when people give their comments about a service which is good ,but i just want people to know that this bus lines day by day try to give their best to their customers.Right know this company gots a new owner which is GRUPO Iamsa which operates in all of Mexico and US by this happening we should start to notice a better service and i just want to let everyone know by me saying this dont expect Faster Service or 100% Cleaner buses. If anybody has a comment REPLY
David do you know how the service works in Wichita, Kansas now? I have tried calling Omnibuses Mexicanos (IAMSA) and El Conejo and they both say that Wichita is not a city that they cover but I see their buses all the time! If you could help me out I would apprecite it since I want to travel to Texas and need to find a good bus line to use.
You got what you paid for, a cheap ride on a cheap bus. Did you pay in Pesos? Could you read the license plate on the bus? Could you speak with the driver? YOU KNOW that Mexico has few if any safety rules for third class buses. I traveled with Transportes del Norte (first class bus) and Tres Estrellas de Oro (first class bus) but I purchased the tickets from Greyhound. P.S. Have you ever noticed that most of the cars in Mexico have only expired Texas License Plates.
Hey Karen sounds like you know a bit about the bus services in Mexico I took a bus from Gwinnett county GA to La Piedad MX the trip was awesome made it in 37 hours what I want to ask you Is La Montanna bus lines out of business ? I cant find a listing for this bus line any where and I want to go again to La Piedad from Georgia
Yes actually. Mexico has the best bus service I have ever seen. It's THE way to travel. Even my American "gringo" friends love it. I guarantee you will be so much more satisfied on most Mexican bus lines in Mexico than here. I got treated like CRAP on Greyhound. If you want luxury, go with Primera Plus. You have so much leg room you can kick and still not reach the seat in front.
so, you are saying that if i buy my ticket in mexico , the quality and service is better ? cuz i hope so. tomorrow i will buy a greyhound ticket to get to tulsa , oklahoma.
I don't know about your experience with El Conejo but something tells me that you're just saying things for the sake of talking. Tres Estrellas De Oro hasn't existed since 1995 and the only company that has transportation agreements with Greyhound is Grupo Estrella Blanca of which Transportes Del Norte does not belong to. And just so you know under Mexican law all bus operators are required to update their equipment every 10 years. It's the American owned companies (El Conejo based in Dallas, Texas) that offer shoddy service on shoddy buses
