| About: | Since opening in late 1997 with musical movers and shakers from Trees, the Curtain Club has managed to become one of the premiere showcases for local rock bands. It has two club spaces, a small front room called the Liquid Lounge, open to 21+, and a performance area in the back that is open to 17+ and is rocked by a huge sound system. Each week there is a day of Acoustic Jam night in the Liquid Lounge. Everyone is invited to bring a guitar and join in the mayhem. The Liquid Lounge is home to live hip-hop on weeknights. |

User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGreat place to go: You will find the crowd to be from 21-30s with mostly younger. The entertainment is always really good. They even have an open mic night on wed......very good bands play then as well.

Great Night Club to Check Out New Bands Energy!: Thw Curtin Club is a great station for up and comming bands. There they can get a real sense of playing for large crowds of people from all over Dallas and Fort Worth. The Curtain Club has a very Impressive sound system and the atmosphere is cool, a nice bar with a fun vibe. The lights go down and when the bands come out on stage, locals cheer for their favorite up and comming artists. Bands like Drowning Pool, Todies,Pantera, Burtan Bros have graced the stage here, I've always had a very good time and recomend the Curtain Club for tourists and anyone else that wants to let off a little steam.
