User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAn opinion from a 1st time customer. We went at a time that was not very busy 5:30 PM) and we're greeted by the owner. He was warm and friendly and took the time to chat with us. He is also charming, asking the everyone's name. We were a family of 4, celebrating a birthday. Shortly after we arrived, a group of 5 people arrived, wearing jeans and sweatshirts as the basic attire. They objected to the table given by the owner, insisting on a different table. They quickly became very load, shouting for the waiter, who was waiting on another table. Yes, the owner then began glaring at them because they did not fit his intention to provide wonderful food, in a peaceful setting. You can tell that he is a very proud owner, and he wants everything to be perfect in the food, service, and the setting of the restaurant. When something is not quiet right, he is going to react.
That being said, our experience was 1st class ... from the charming attention of the owner, the efficient waiter, and the very excellent food. This place is not TGIF, and is not for a rowdy group, but is perfect for an excellent, quiet dinner with family and friends.

Easily the worst service I have ever had. It went beyond being poor to being plain rude. The arrogant owner glared at us when informed him that we were only going to have drinks and an appetizer. It was 5pm and the restaurant was completely empty. Our waiter couldn't have seem more bothered to take care of us (not that he had anyone else to take care of). After we had signed the check, we tried to engage him in conversation, and he turned and walked away from us while we were talking to him. The food was ok. Needless to say, I will never go here again.
