The character-driven theme of this restaurant creates a very colorful eating atmosphere. You may find yourself ordering your meal from an Elvis impersonator, Hercules, Tinker Bell or Henry VIII, among other characters. Enjoy a good meal while you watch the uniquely dressed wait staff parade by your table. All the cuts of beefsteaks are excellent, whether you prefer prime rib, steak or other cuts. User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsWe went to the magic time machine for my son;s 13th birthday and we were very disappointed, the service was just ok and the food was average, certainly not as great as the prices would indicate. The place was dead because it was a week night but they made no real attempts to entertain the boys. We have been several times before but this was the worst and my son said he would not care to go back there. I had even called ahead and made a reservation and told them that it was a boy's 13th birthday and ask for a fun character. Don't go during the week!!

Be prepared to pay for the atmosphere and not the food....it's just so-so. I wasn't terribly impressed with the customer service to adults, although they were nice to the kids. Would be great for a child's or teen's party.

If you like roaches crawling out of your food than this is the place to go. We went to the Dallas location for my husband's birthday several years ago. We were having a good time until a roach crawled out our food. The manager offered to move us to another seat and reissue our food. However, I was not interested and it did not seem to phase them that they had a pest issue.
