Gloria's is a Mexican restaurant/club in Dallas serving authentic Mexican cuisine for lunch and dinner. Parties are commonly held here, and on weekends, the floor is cleared to make room for salsa dancing. There is often a live band performing on these occasions. Happy hour is Monday through Thursday all day and Fridays from 3p-7p, with phenomenal drink specials (bar is open from 11p-2a). There is no cover before 10p (when food is served). No one under 21 may enter after 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Check with restaurant for other times special rules apply. Visit the website to find other locations in the Dallas area.
Hours:
Mo to Th from 11:00am to 10:00pm,Su from 11:00am to 10:00pm
I am sorely disappointed that I tried 7 times, and for several hours to contact this restaurant while visiting Dallas from Denver, I found the message system to be very lengthy and still was unable to speak with an individual in person, to ask about the age of the crowd that frequents the establishment, as we are in our 30-40 range and do not wish to have 20 yo running amuck with our good time. However I was greatly surprised at the rich variety of well managed and courteous staff at the other clubs that were in the immediate vicinity, I will however never recommend (Glorias) to any traveler from my home town
Either there is no good Mexican food in Dallas or most of these reviwers have no taste buds. Gloria's was great if you enjoy paying for food that comes out of can. It started with chili con queso that was canned nacho cheese sauce mixed with a can of Rotels chili peppers. I had better cheese sauce at Ranger's Ball Park. Then I was treated to enchiladas that feautred canned enchilada sauce, runny refried beans and a prepackaged rice and vegetable concoction. To make it even more special all the food was bland. I'd recommend a little seasoning go into their canned food. It was basically the equivlant of a frozen Mexican dinner. Not to mention the margarita made from bottled margarita mix. In the end a meal with $4.50 worth of canned and prepackaged food cost me $50.00 for two. If this is the best Mexican food Dallas has to offer i dread eating Mexican food anywhere in the city.

I do agree with you. I taught I was the only one because everyone I know talks about how good Gloriaâs is.
